Italian Reverted Muslimah I live and work in UK, I have chosen Islam because of its theology. Allah (SWT) is the only one God and Muhammad (pbbuh)His last Messenger. I don’t listen to music and I don’t watch television programmes or movies because they are haram. I make exceptions for the news and some documentaries or educational movie. My hobby is Art so I read books on this topic and I also paint abstract and love photography; I am studying to become freelance journalist for Art and I would love to be able to make a profession out of it, Insha allah.

I like going out walking in nature, as I love nature and animals, I would like to travel but most of all would like going on Hajj with my husband, Insha Allah.

I like cooking and they say I am a good cook, I can cook everything from scratch not just Italian cuisine.

I am 47 years old and wish to have children, I have never been married but have had relationships before converting to Islam.

My main goal in life is to become the more and more steadfast in prayer and in understanding and memorising Qur’an because this Dunya is delusional and Islam brings real peace and happiness and leads to the real life in Jannah. I follow Sunni Islam and wear hijab at all times as it is a very important spiritual practice, and has been commanded by Allah (SWT). I wear loose trousers and very long shirts at work because as Support Worker I need to comply with health and safety regulations.

My role models are our Prophet Muhammad (pbbuh) and his wives.

Practising Muslim man he must understand more than I do of Islam with little cultural influences. I am looking for a man who wears a beard without moustaches and who dresses modestly, I don’t like short sleeves, shorts or open shirts and I would like him to wear long shirts. As it might be difficult for me to wear hijab I can understand he might have to wear a uniform for work.

About the man I wish to meet I can only say he has to believe in Allah (SWT) and understand everything in this world is Dunya and live consequently to this. Striving for Jannah and relying on Qur’an as well as have established the 5 prayers a day are fundamental requirements, so please don’t contact me if you don’t. This life is a test so I wish both of us to have understanding and common sense, and to become loving and affectionate to each other like Allah (SWT) wants us to be.

I won’t take my hijab off in front of you before being actually living together as husband and wife, so please don’t ask for it.
